DESCRIPTION:
A teaser of the 2016 album of the well-known German ritual dark ambient formation VORTEX. The album invokes the demons of the urban night: thus 'Moloch' is the metaphor of the metropolis as a place of death and decay. Inspired by ancient myths of decline and the film noir aesthetics of the 1940s alike this is a powerful mixture of brooding drones, ritual percussion and glimpses of disorientation noise. The soundtrack to an urban nightmare.
