- CUREPROEJCT WAS BORN OFFICIALLY on AUGUST 17th, '07
August 17th 2007 after different attempts of The Cure's covers' projects, such as "Secrets" 2005, "The drowningmen" 2006, having sailed in The Cure world since forever, I decided to go ahead and change course having on mind a project for a tribute cover with less limitations respect a true cover band, and where I can also express something more…I have nothing against cover bands, as a matter of fact it is just my artistic choice to choose a tribute ( I want to make this clear because often someone has misinterpreted my choice…and that is not it, I do appreciate the work and strain of all cover bands); my main project is " OPERA GLASSES " www.myspace.com/theoperaglasses where still today, during our live shows we always propose some tribute-covers to the Cure.
Therefore the "Cureproject" is born, precisely a PROJECT.
A project which doesn't have a precise aim, never had it since I thought of it and maybe never will have it; Passion for the Cure is in control;
PROJECT CURE… so have it! My love for The Cure which I have since ever, marks the start and creation of this project, and it all makes sense and is part of a script, as our Good Maestro Mr Smith teaches us, there will be continuous changes, new routes, people, fellow musicians which come and go, steadily staying on this huge WAVE which are The CURE, everyone, anyone can give their active share to the Cureproject, everyone can be a part of it.
My main purpose is not to get stuck in any well defined genre as far The Cure's songs revisions are concerned and as of today the Cureproject members can give their contribute music wise by expressing their sensitivity.
In 2007 I start with two collaborators whose initial week intense and vibrant collaboration has been diminishing right away.
Each of us has his or her ideas and proposals, I have mine. Nobody looks down on me for this.
These were my first companions of adventure which I still thank.
Hence I continue down on my path alone and on the major part of the Cureproject. The Cureproject finally TAKES SHAPE.
As of today the main collaborator is Gianluca Licciardi, also named Schlock, a sort of in-out collaboration; more and more pieces take shape and a direction, the love for The Cure is able to put me in such a state of freedom, with no precise aim. Wonderful!!!
This is the Cureproject, Love for The Cure, nothing more…nothing more.
Since the beginning I felt the necessity to go on with humility and above all with determination driven by the love of The Cure; ( I know I repeat myself) but this is how it is. I believe each of us has a way to conceive things, and do them and think of them and bring them forward, as well as a way to express himself. Whoever faces me must, first of all, face my strong sensitivity for The Cure of Robert Smith, which, besides a true cure for my life, have been and still are a great example, on an artistic level and human, most of all.

Create, Program, Remix a Cure Song for the exclusive use of the Cureproject (upon agreement)
Play during a Live Performance ( BASS, KEYBOARD, or electronic DRUMS ) in one or more songs. ( "anywhere in the world" ; ) "where there is a Live Cureproject"
Participate, Collaborate, Organize in any way to the Cureproject is Possible!!!!!
