THE STORY
Once upon a time in Cambridge, an English busker set off to Europe . he met a German girl on the way and that ruined everything ( more or less !)He settled down hung up his guitar. as one does.time went by. a son came along he picked up his guitar (as one does) and started to write songs again.he started gigging. formed a band here and a band there ( Croaking Toad,Poppy Daze,Scott ) made a cd,was approached by EMI, appeared on radio and t.v. and then just as he was going to give up again Julian started banging HARD on his bongos;
The TTOCS was formed and Chris and Julian started doing the pubs in White Stripes style, winning fans from wannabes to have-beens and from grannies to tiny teens and in 2006 their single"Get up" got to number one of the Australian Mp3 Indie Charts and stayed there for over 3 months.Then they changed their name to Crown Jules after everyone kept mispronouncing the Ttocs.
2007 Crown Jules got through to the semi-finals of a the MP3 Germany band competition and recorded their first album "songs of Gus".

Some Quotes:
"what makes Crown Jules extraordinary ? The great songs, the unusual line-up, the anti-rockstar attitude, and the juxtaposition of lethargy and carefree dynamic energy." Cambridge Evening
"Seriously good songs from a band which doesn't take itself too seriously.Chris sings, speaks and screams about life, the world and the universe. . Julian couldn't care less - he bangs his drums to his heart's, and the audience's content ." NEB magazine
