Live and Unsigned RADIO

Live and Unsigned Radio is an exciting new Radio station dedicated to the promotion of unsigned artists. The station only plays just that “Unsigned acts” with a natural blend of all genre’s of music including Indie, rock and pop to keep that commercial feel but credible edge.

Bands and singers can submit a track to us so we can play them on the radio. The tracks will need to be in Mp3 format and be no more than 5 meg. Please contact us if you would like your music played.

Coming soon is the “UK’s Unsigned artist chart.” This will be a National chart published and released bi weekly.



Live and Unsigned is the largest national music competition for original artists. It’s a National competition for unsigned bands, vocal groups and solo artists to perform live. Over 10, 000 artists have entered for the last three years in succession, making it the biggest live music talent search for original bands and singers in the UK.



The competition’s unique format allows the UK's break through acts to perform in their own genre and style, and the overall aim is to find potential recording artists. Live and Unsigned’s uniqueness is derived from its passion for and dedication to live music.



The Live and Unsigned competition requires all competitors to partake in live auditions, allowing the act’s live talent and ability to be judged appropriately. The acts then battle it out in the live shows at the most prestigious venues throughout the UK in a bid to discover the UK's best Live and Unsigned act 2011.

The successful competitors from the auditions will be asked back to perform and compete in the Live and Unsigned showcase Regional finals which will be at the most prestigious venues throughout the UK. The regional final will also include a special guest performance plus all the best unsigned acts in your region in a showcase to Judges from National Radio, Kerrang, BBC Introducing, Regional Press & record labels as well as the general public. At the Live shows the contestants will be battling it out for a place in the National Showcase Grand Final at The O2.

At the live shows the contestants will be competing for a place in the National Showcase Grand Final at the Live and Unsigned Festival taking place at the O2 in London.



The winners will perform on the main stage of the Live and Unsigned Festival. It’s the climax of the competition and is an all day event packed full of entertainment at the 02 in London. It brings together the cream of the crop of unsigned talent from across the UK and plays host to an eclectic mix of artists with categories and prizes in all genres so it’s packed with music for everyone! The Festival showcases the best of the UK's unsigned talent in front of a capacity crowd and industry judges. Media representatives, music industry experts and celebrity guests will also be present and all have the capacity to change professional music careers forever. The overall winner of the competition will be crowned the UK's best Live and Unsigned act on the main stage of the Festival and will be thrust into the media spotlight through television, radio and print media. They'll also be invited on the UK Live and Unsigned Tour - exposing their music to over 40,000 people. There’s over £100, 000 in prizes up for grabs throughout the competition!
