DESCRIPTION:
This was the first song I was given. It all came together one weekend morning in about 90 minutes, from waking up with lyrics in my head to first recording. It's about the things I consider when I do a thorough smudge. The things I associate with each direction - like the herbs and the guardian spirits - are according to the Mi'kmaw spiritual teachings I have been given.
