DESCRIPTION:
There was certainly a lot to get excited about at this year's edition of Zwarte Cross, and we're not just talking about the bikes. With the reputation of being both the country's largest festival as well as the largest motocross event on Earth (yeah, you read it right), the expectations seem to get higher every year... and boy were we blown away! To be honest, any festival that has a ferris wheel as part of the fun was bound to receive high praise in our book, but it wasn't all about boarding rides and eating ourselves sick with cotton candy, we were there for one reason and one reason only; for the music.

On that note, we caught up with a long list of artists that blessed the festival line up with their musical presence: from the bluesy sounds of Giant Tiger Hooch to the soul of Patrick Lehman, from the ska infused Bottle Of Moonshine to Projekt Rakija's balkanesque vibes (not to mention a little interview with Jon Fratelli), Zwarte Cross made us feel like spoiled little children on the music front. Oh, and before you ask, one little detail we can't reveal about our time at Zwarte Cross concerns the usage of the festival's chest hair removal facilities, as those members of the team who made use of these facilities would prefer to remain anonymous...
