Originally Creature With The Atom Brain was the one-man project of Aldo Struyf, formerly with Millionaire. After two EPs and the arrival of Dave Schroyen, Jan Wygers and Michiel Van Cleuvenbergen, CWTAB developed into a full-fledged band. For a time the band performed dressed in freaky painter's coveralls, wrapped in cellophane, which only strengthened their cult status. Their first two psychedelic albums, 'I Am The Golden Gate Bridge' (2007) and 'Transylvania' (2009), were greatly appreciated by music critics and fellow musicians. In the past few years they have toured America and Northern Europe several times, opening for Queens Of The Stone Age, The Jesus And Mary Chain, The Dead Weather (with Jack White) and Alice In Chains. In the spring they released their third album, 'The Birds Fly Low' and toured with Mark Lanegan. Aldo Struyf and the new drummer Jean-Philippe De Gheest were officially part of the Mark Lanegan Band. Get ready for a super fat and intense live set of Creature With The Atom Brain.
