His roots in Rhythm and Blues, Motown and Soul music goe all the way back to High School, when he played sax and sang with The Rapper's Soul Band. The Rapper's Soul Band performed regularly at prestigious south Florida hot spots like the Fountainblue and Castaways, and opened for renowned Soul music Artist on their comeback tours, including James Brown, The Four Tops and The Temptations. His early performance career gigging with The Rapper's was an incredible real world experience and had a huge influence on his cultural and musical diversity. Even today, those early experiences contribute to his performance, keeping the soul alive in his One Man Show Band!
