On The Sunny Side Of The Street - Dixieland Crackerjacks

This title was allready recorded on the very first Dixieland Crackerjacks CD, dating back to 1995. Album title : Red Roses For A Blue Lady. Alas this CD is sold out at the moment. We will consider a reissue, if enough people are interested!

Dixieland Crackerjacks were founded in 1994, under the leadership of saxophone/clarinet player Bert Brandsma. Trumpeter Michel Muller was a member from the start. Together they won the Leiden Jazz contest in 1994. In 2004 Bert Brandsma married Slidin' Selena. In 2011 het also started playing in the famous British Big Chris Barber Band.
The band recorded 5 complete CD albums :

- St. James In Germany (2001)
- The Carribean Suite (2005)
- Out Of Nowhere (2009)

In 2010 a DVD was issued : Great Live Performances.
