I wanted to find a balance between great inventive arrangements and a healthy hat-nod to my musical heroes." Coy has had the chance to write, record and or perform with a wide assortment of great musicians such as legendary jazz saxophonist Kenny Garrett, jazz pianist Gary Motley, blues guitarist Tinsley Ellis, Atlanta music legend Donny McCormick, organist and composer Ike Stubblefield, Inobe, and many other talented Altlanta musicians.
