This album, recorded before Pimp C went into jail in 2002, was released unfinished in 2004 with the proceeds going towards Pimp C’s family and ongoing legal troubles. Many of these songs went on to become what's known by many as The Sweet James Jones Stories. The versions here are all a little more "raw". Pimp is singing the hooks instead of other artists, some songs have holes where guest verses should go and some beats have that analogue sound that just isn't on the 2005 Rap-A-Lot counterpart. All in all this is a great listen that even has a few exclusive tracks you can't find anywhere else.
