I am 13-year-old Cassidy Zahar from Vilna Alberta, and i chose to sing the song Danny Boy because it is a song that i already know and can preform. This was my Grandmother's favorite song, and i sang it for her for the last time at her funeral last February. She was a big supporter of me and she always hoped to see me preform on the big stage one day. Even though i didn't get through when i auditioned in Edmonton, i looked at it as a learning experience and i was glad that i got the chance to go for it anyway!
