Visiting us from Nashville Tennessee, Cory Taylor Cox cooked up a delectable little session in the Second Kitchen studio. CTC began playing shows in Tupelo, MS as a solo singer song writer; releasing his first album, Not Just A Dirty Rumor, in 2008. While travelling during the electric tours across the south, he was joined by an assortment of friends that helped him coin the new term for the style of music CTC was creating, "Mississippi Gypsy Rock & Roll".

In 2011, CTC released his second album titled We Made These Sounds Together. Indie Music Reviewer gave this album 4 out of 5 stars describing it as "a seven song masterpiece that will wow even the most persnickety ear". You can pick up a copy of both of these stellar albums off his Bandcamp. Second Kitchen really enjoyed getting this session on its way. Just a solo set from CTC and some awesome vegan African Groundnut Stew (The Hearty Herbivore) that was provided by his wonderful chef of a girlfriend, and it's a great day. His music, providing us with some soulful melodic comfort; his lyrics, creating imagery that one can only sit and feel the captivating delight in his voice.
