Full of tastey ideas and flawless picking from both Cory and Jarrod, the song is accompanied by the equally creative break of their younger brother, Tyler. Clay Jones, who is currently with the band Mountain Heart, adds some stellar backup runs. An excellent example of taking an old, almost sacred traditional song and filling it with life, Clinch Mountain Backstep is the blend of minimalism and creativity done to perfection!
