On September 19th, 2011 Fender opened its brand new visitor center and factory tours to the public. I visited them on September 20th and enjoyed seeing one of America's greatest companies at work. The tour lasted about an hour long including everything from Fender making most of its own metal parts to seeing Stratocasters, Telecasters, Jackson guitars, USA custom Gretsch guitars, and Charvel guitars being made in this factory.

At the end of the tour you visit the custom shop and meet some of the masterbuilders and we were lucky enough to meet Abigal Ybarra who was worked at Fender since 1956 and has wound pickups since 1957.

Visiting the museum and visitor center is a lot of fun because you can try all the latest products from all of Fender's companies and learn about the history of Fender and some of its iconic employees like George Fullerton.
Video isn't allowed so this video is a compilation of just stills. The music is from my band 7 twenty 6 in which some of that song was recorded with Fender amps and Fender guitars.
