Here's the deal. There is only one CD-100 like this on Earth. This CD-100 was custom made by hand by the late and great Cesar Diaz himself for the owner of Peakamoose guitars. Cesar, even in passing, remains one of the great modern day guitar techs and amp designers having worked on and toured with the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, the Rolling Stones and Keith Richards, G.E. Smith and Neil Young. The origin of the CD-100 is based around the amplifier that Cesar made for Stevie Ray Vaughan. What makes this amp 100% totally and absolutely unique is that this is the only one he ever made with Cesar's renowned Vibramaster Vibrato circuit built in to it. This amp features true vibrato meaning it actually pitch shifts versus tremolo which is just volume output pulsing. You can hear this in our demo but it really needs to be experienced to be fully appreciated.

Like almost all great things, this amp came about out of necessity. Paul Schwartz, owner of Peakamoose guitars, was good friends and colleagues with Cesar for almost 2 decades. They regularly kept each other company on the phone and via headsets while working into the night on their respective workbenches and projects in other corners of the US. When Cesar Diaz was eventually ready to bring the CD-100 amp line to market he wanted someone in NYC to have at least two products available for demo and asked Paul if he would do it. Paul of course obliged and asked if the amp he brought him could show off Cesar's marvelous Vibramaster Vibrato function. A few months later, Cesar delivered this amp to Paul's door.

This single channel amp features separate high and low inputs, adjustable turn key spring reverb, a half power switch and the following controls :

Dwell & Speed controls for the Vibrato
Bass - with Push / Pull Bass Cut
Treble - with Push / Pull Mid Boost
Volume - with Push / Pull Bright

The footswitch grants you access to a delicious BOOST that delivers the perfect amount of kick and dirt to rise above the rest of a live band and cut through the mix with sweetness. The "reverb" button on the footswitch in this case acts as an on /off switch for the Vibramster Vibrato circuit.

This amp doesn't just provide a mountain of incendiary tone. It delivers a link in the lineage to one of the great modern day amp masters finest works. There is only one of this amp and it cannot be confused with the modern day production amps that bare Cesar's name. This was hand crafted by one the best and it shows every time you fire it up!
