The Corner Boys originally started as The Formations in the late 1960's. They changed their name and were signed to Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff's Neptune label, where they recorded this one single.

The Philly soul group belts out a classic Philly sound on this record. Despite the new label, sound and production of Gamble & Huff, this record did not chart anywhere.

The group changed their name again to the Silent Majority and then Hot Ice in the early 70's. By then, the group melted like ice and fizzled out of the music business.
