After the Hit Men over at Organized Noize set Atlanta and the millions within its earshot on fire with the platinum-selling Outkast, gold-selling Goodie Mob, Witchdoctor and Kilo albums a Coool Breeez is finally came from the southern region.

Coool Breeez is actually a name he got from his older sister, (A rapper herself, Coool Breeez's sibling gave him the title/apt description of his demeanor when he was just a 13-year-old trying to make his way in his native Atlanta suburb East Point. "She said I looked like L.L. Cool J," explains Coool Breeez. "It didn't have anything to do with what I sounded like.") But to Freddie Calhoun his only rap name has come to mean "I'm like the weather. Ain't no telling what I might be doing next!"

Coool Breeez's Organized Noize/Interscope Records debut, "East Point's Greatest Hit," aimed at hip-hop fans from all coasts, and regions, and fired away with some of the most deftly delivered and diverse styles to hit since, well, Outkast, Goodie Mob, Witchdoctor. The album spawned hits "Watch For The Hook" and "Creatine" and the rest was history.

Which brings us to now.Since his debut album Coool Breeez has been making guest apprearances on various songs such as "Clairemont Lounge" with Bubba Sparxxx & Killa Mike on The Purple Ribbon All-Stars album (Purple Ribbon/Virgin) and spending his time working hard on his next masterpiece in which the hip-hop community has been waiting patiently to hear.

Coool Breeez has just inked a deal with Bubba Sparxxx's New South Records and his highly anticpated return is in sight. "We've recorded so many new songs we are having trouble deciding what to leave off the album. But that's a good problem to have." Sounds like a classic!!!
