Breakfast in America - Roger Hodgson (Supertramp) Writer and Composer - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jan 17, 2016
DESCRIPTION:
Roger Hodgson co-founded Supertramp in 1969 and was the driving force behind what fans call the 14 golden years of the band. Roger wrote, composed, sang, and arranged the enduring rock standards that made Supertramp a worldwide phenomenon with album sales in excess of 60 million. In addition to Breakfast in America, Roger also gave us the timeless classics such as Give a Little Bit, School, Dreamer, The Logical Song, Take the Long Way Home, It's Raining Again, Fool's Overture, and many more.

“Breakfast in America is consistently one of the most popular songs in the set and it just seems to ignite a wave of joy in the audience when they hear the first chords. Never could I have imagined when I wrote this song at age 19 that it would be gaining in popularity, if that is even possible, over 40 years later. It's the playful, fun, jubilant quality that people love to hear and sing along to." ~ Roger Hodgson

Roger is currently on tour. Every concert is a powerful emotional journey and his passion for his music and his art shines through in the magic and intimacy that is felt by the audience, as with this July 2015 show in Veszprém, Hungary.
