We were a band from 2004 to 2010.
It was only possible to have as many amazingly fun shows because of everyone who helped us, all the bands we played with, especially: N.O.A.T.S., Radiates (RIP), Starscream, Fiasco, Runtime Error (RIP), The Creep, The Mighty Handful (RIP), The Sediment Club, Baby Battleship (RIP), Outernational, Anything Orange (RIP). Thanks to all of you guys, all our close friends, and the venues who helped us have wonderful shows full of energy. I personally believe those shows were the product of a group of kids who were full of rebellion, creativity, independence, and had a vision to create something of their own through (sometimes) excellent collaboration. I have eternal respect and love for a lot of you, and for everyone in Consumer Feedback. Living in a city like New York, full of frustrations for any group of teenagers trying to play shows, it's hard to keep something like that going, and sadly, the hipster tide has swallowed almost everything left. I hope that everyone who experienced the shows and the scene that were a huge part of my life as a teenager in this city will continue to contribute to creating true rebellious art and community in this city where that is often so hard to find. I hope you continue to embrace youthful rebellion and punk rock, and to fight any force creating stagnation and preventing real change in both NYC and the rest of the world.
