DESCRIPTION:
I was really fortunate, and had the honor of performing with the Grammy Award winning Blind Boys of Alabama at their Christmas Show in St. Augustine, Florida this year. They were all extremely nice, and put on a GREAT show. After the show Jimmy Carter, who's been with the band for 70 yrs., told me that I was "MEAN on that gitfiddle!" Ha! It was a fantastic night, and being visually impaired myself, I really appreciated the opportunity that I had to play with them. Here's their version of "Amazing Grace," set to the tune of the 1964 song "House of the Rising Sun." Hope y'all like it, Merry Christmas everybody!!
