The tribal people on the island of Trobriand in Eastern Papua New Guinea were introduced to cricket by missionaries. Adaptation over 3/4 of century have seen the game evolve in ways that are unique to the local culture and needs of their indigenous society, cricket became a substitution for violent and destructive tribal battles. Winners get Betelnut & Yams as rewards for successful game play.

The Kabisawali People's Government political movement wanted the film and distributed by the Office Of Information of the Papua New Guinea Government.
