waiting for rain to wake up green life
extinguish May with a downpour
searching through pieces in the debris
before they burn up as fuel in this dust fire
as clear is soon bruised
I'm making wake but the waves are mute
when you were
where you are
cannot fall asleep
in between the day and dream
when you were
where you are
it seem that the shovels plant like dull spears
I hear your voice when I'm sleeping
but I can't feel
so i wake to the thunder and its shadows
confusing dark shapes as your outlines
