Amanda Palmer singing "Coin-Operated Boy" live at Arena, Vienna (31 Jan 2010).
This very song has been used for some time now in the TV commercials of "Darbo", a large Austrian jam manufacturer.
It made both Amanda Palmer as well as Darbo's products quite well-known here but also elsewhere, although the spots can only be watched here on national TV.
Nevertheless I met Chinese, who ate Darbo marmelade for breakfast in a hotel in Asia, talking to me about that song and the jam company, as they knew I am Austrian. Quite amazing...

Amanda, the one and only... is the diva of Dark Cabaret, a tremendous artist and such a very nice person.
