Nick Flora is an alterna-pop singer/songwriter out of Nashville, TN who has been making records and touring the country solo and with a band for the better part of 10 years.
Flora released his first proper solo record "Great Escape" in 2009, and the follow-up "Hello Stranger" in Feb 2011 both produced by Andrew Osenga (The Normals, Caedmon's Call). Flora boasts a blend of catchy power/pop anthems and heartfelt ballads that entwines pop-culture-nostalgia with the "refreshingly familiar." With influences from Ben Folds to Elvis Costello, and David Bazan to Randy Newman, Flora expertly extracts the fine points of a song and highlights it with a unique voice and heartfelt, yet often "tongue-in-cheek" perspective.
In the summers of 2010, 2011, and 2012 Flora released a series of movie themed EPs of cover songs entitled "Remake", "Remake EP Strikes Back", and "Return Of the Remake EP" respecitvely, for free download on his site (www.nickflora.com)
