PUBLISHED:  Mar 14, 2015
DESCRIPTION:
This is an historical promo-video about the guitar trio "MusicaTre" (formed by the young guitarists Alberto Cogo, Davide Ficco and Carmelo Lacertosa), recorded in Piedmont (Italy) in 1983. The Trio plays Paul Hindemith's, Filippo Gragnani's and Carlo Prosperi's original pages for three guitars; moreover, four short interviews to their theacher, M° Guido Margaria, to the musical manager Secondo Villata and to the important italian composers / theachers Felice Quaranta (formerly the Director of Conservatory of Turin) and Elisio Gualdi are added (M° Gualdi worked more than 40 years in China as a composer, a conductor and an opera singing teacher), in order to get their opinion on the young trio's performances. When Alberto Cogo died with his wife Laura Volterrani and the pianist Antonio Bacchelli on the 11th of november 1986 in a dramatic accident, the Trio disbanded and decided to never restart their activity. Davide and Carmelo lovingly dedicate this post to Alberto and Laura.
