Cody McCarver - Redneck Friends of Mine (Official Music Video) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Nov 14, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
Cody McCarver wrote "Redneck Friends of Mine" while thinking of his friends and family and where he came from. They recorded a great track at the Tracking Room in Nashville, Tennesse, with Nashville's best musicians.

They took the song on the road and for many weeks studied ideas for a music video. After putting a lot of thought into the video it was simple... "We film in as many locations as possible and put all my Redneck Friends in the video." They wanted to depict Cody McCarver in his element. Jacked up Trucks, 4 wheelers, mud, Jack Daniels, David Alan Coe and all our Redneck Friends we could fit into the video.

The video was filmed and directed by Christopher Forbes (Forbes Films) who has directed two motion pictures where Cody McCarver roles in. The video was filmed in 4 different states including, West Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky.

A funny story from the first day of shooting: "We went to a trailer park in Cody's hometown of Dunlap, Tennessee. We were set to film in the front yard of a house trailer in the park. The shoot was meant to be only Cody and the band performing on the front porch. Before the end of the day we had every person who lived in the trailer park hanging out wanting to be in the video. Almost 200 people gathered, which Cody promptly invited to be in the video and all became Redneck friends of Cody McCarver!"

"Redneck Friends of Mine" is the fourth single release of Cody McCarver's album "I Just Might Live Forever".
