This is where I realised the beauty of our home,
When those sacred seconds ticked away,
as our last.
I miss you, and they say we can never go back.
But I have no means to reinvent the past.

I left home a long time ago.
Echoing through the darkness,
searching for your scattered thoughts.
Patience, silence, and stillness.
This is why you placed the mantis on my window,
In your new image of Nature.
I'm still searching for that day,
When I'm meant to return home.
I hope the crows did not scare away the birds of my morning.
I hope that they will return, after my long winter.
My dreams tell me my future,
But I forget them when I wake.
This deja vu tells me I'm close.

Hello. It's been about 2 months since I've uploaded a song. It's been difficult to write, while I was searching deeper for my purpose. This song is based off of a poem I wrote.
