The Clover

The Clover is a live and production passionate project born in Florence in 2006. The group is composed by two musicians/djs: Antonio Pecori, Stefano Meucci and a bass player Andrea Giachetti. The attempt is to produce a fresh tech-funk sound, housey and groovy, in between best west coast american house and techno cuts "akufen style".
Their tracks are released on the French Ethique, and on the Italian Bosconi, Tenax and Sunplay, the German Klamauk and Clap Your Hands. In the live set Antonio & Stefano control the two laptops while bass player Andrea warms it all up with his funky-house real bassline! Cut, clicks and effects realtime fill up the groove giving a fresh and surprising danceble appeal. The whole result is sunny and warm due to the good mixture of analog and digital.
The Clover è un progetto live e pieno di passione nato a Firenze nel 2006. Il gruppo è composto dai due dj musicisti Antonio Pecori e Stefano Meucci e dal bassista Andrea Giachetti. L'intento è quello di dar vita ad un sound tech-funk fresco, sui ritmi della migliore house della west coast americana e della techno stile Akufen. Le loro tracce sono uscite su etichette come: la francese Ethique, le italiane Bosconi, Tenax e Sunplay, le tedesche Klamauk e Clap Your Hands.
Durante il live Antonio e Stefano lavorano sui due laptop mentre il bassista Andrea riscalda il tutto con le sue note funky-house. Tagli, suoni ed effetti riempiono l'atmosfera donando un fresco e sorprendente ritmo ballabile. Il risultato globale è solare e vivace grazie al giusto mix di analogico e digitale.



Nel 2008 partecipano al Challenge di Elettrowave '08 vincendo la categoria best dj producers.
