Tech 21's Boost Comp offers two eminently usable dynamics processors in one: 21dB clean Boost and a killer Compressor with extensive tone shaping facilities. You can use either independently or both together to really give your amp a shot in the arm. The Compressor is as smooth or squashy as you want it to be and together with the Tone and Presence controls offers a LOT more than your standard two-knob affair. Couple it with the Boost and you've got compressor, treble booster, booster, tone-shaper, enhancer and limiter all at your disposal. This pedal is going to be popular and I can fully understand why.
