In this video, the old TV recording is synchronized with high quality stereo sound from the old LP, both are historical documents of this incredible concert performance. The original TV recording of this concert contains very bad quality mono sound and it is not synchronized well with the picture, stereo sound was not yet TV standard in the 60'ies.

David Oistrakh's interpretations have been my biggest inspiration when I was young musician. In my subjective opinion, this was not only the greatest violin player of all times, but also one of the very finest musicians ever walked on the earth.
