I hope you like this video, I'm Jerome guitarist and cigar box guitarist, I'm French.
And some time ago I wanted to try a cigar box guitar and there it is the drama!
Since then I am having fun trying to play everything I can think of, looking for and testing different tunings.
And so one day I say to myself why not make a little best of the best guitar riffs but played in the cigar box guitar?
This is how it all started and here I am looking for all the possible ways to make my cigar box sound the best.
I like to record live on my pc and at the same time with a microphone in the room to have a more lively rendering.
As I say I like this imperfect side of the instrument, it sounds very quickly wrong and it's rigorous enough to manage to sound a cigar box guitar.
Only 3 or 4 strings but much more physical than playing 6 strings on a guitar.
In any case I am having fun and I try to share this with you, do not hesitate to leave a comment if you want info or if you have ideas of songs to take back to the cigar box guitar.

J'espere que cette video vous plaira, je suis Jerome guitariste et cigar box guitariste, je suis français. Et il y a quelques temps j'ai eu envie d'essayer une cigar box guitare et là c'est le drame !
Depuis je m'amuse bien à essayer de jouer tout ce qu'il me passe par la tête, à chercher et tester des accordages différents.
Et donc un jour je me dis pourquoi pas faire un petit best of des meilleurs riffs de guitare mais joués à la cigar box guitare?
Voilà comment tout à démarré et me voilà entrain de chercher toutes les façons possible de faire sonner au mieux ma cigar box.
J'aime m'enregistrer en direct sur mon pc et en même temps avec un micro dans le pièce pour avoir un rendu plus vivant.
Comme je dis j'aime bien ce coté imparfait de l'intrument, ça sonne très vite faux et c'est assez rigoureux pour arriver à bien faire sonner une cigar box guitare.
Seulement 3 ou 4 cordes mais beaucoup plus physique que de jouer 6 cordes sur une guitare.
En tout cas je m'amuse bien et j'essaie de partager ça avec vous, n h'ésitez pas à laisser en commentaire si vous souhaitez des infos ou si vous avez des idées de morceaux à reprendre à la cigar box guitare.
