Duetto buffo di due gatti (Cat Duet) - attrib. G. Rossini, likely compiled by R. L. Pearsall - Video
PUBLISHED:  Nov 28, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
The Cat Duet is often attributed to composer Giaochino Rossini (1792 - 1868) but he wasn’t the one who composed it, even though the piece does contain a lot of his music. It is likely that the piece was compiled by Robert Lucas Pearsall (1795 - 1856). An 1825 edition of the Cat Duet credited Pearsall for the piece, but he was under a psuedonym: G. Berthold, just to add to the confusion!

Singers:Chichi (Chinwe) Enu and Adrienne Ivey
