Don Kendrick is a drummer/percussionist originally from a town called Zachary La. outside of Baton Rouge. He has toured with and recorded with greats such as John Fred and the Playboys ("Judy in Disguise"), Freddy Fender, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Cornelius Bros. and Sister Rose, Shelly West, Jeannie C. Riley, Jimmy Hall, Bonnie Bramlett, Copas Bros., Salt Creek, Anson Funderburg, James" Nick" Nixson, Marion James, Billy Cox, Clifford Curry, C.J. Vaughn, Delicious Blues Stew- just to name a few. He was voted Nashville's Best Blues Drummer 2011. He has also received gold, platinum, and grammy awards for his participation in the recording of many projects and is featured in the Nov. 2011 issue of Classic Drummer Magazine.
