Do you know what is the largest selling and most influential music genre in the world is? Hip Hop! It comprises of lyrics from the heart and truthfully expresses the realities of life. With a poetic twist and play on words (i.e. slang dialect)

Realizing that he needed to do something with his life, and having a difficult time in college, he didn't believe college at that time was for him. A year after graduating high school he joined the Air Force for what he thought would be four years for the purpose of "work" and doing something with his life. Well, those four years has lead to eight years as an active duty Staff Sergeant. At the beginning of his first assignment which was Eielson Air Force Base in the Alaska. He was introduced to one young man who liked the same activities that he liked basketball, football, video games, shoes, clothes, and girls.

While he was stationed there, his relationship grew and he came to find out that his friend was a Chaplain's assistant in the Air Force and was an authentic believer of the Lord Jesus. Threw their hanging out and friendship he soon would meet other 20 something's that were on fire for God. This prompted him to get serious with his relationship with the Lord. Slowly he began to give up negative things in his life and one of them was Hip Hop music. He and his friends would understand that music is a powerful instrument and that God could use it however he wanted too. They then began to write and record music and today that is what birthed him to use this venue to minister Gods' heart, love and grace to a dying world.

Defining his musical inspiration as God inspired, Anthony "Redefined" Nelson Jr includes the good news message, and evokes the listener to follow God and live a life that it pleasing unto God.
Redefined is a man on a mission, his lyrics speaks truths and resulting in being a positive force in the local community then to the uttermost parts of the world. Driven by his love for God, love for mankind and love for music, Redefined has a heart for all people, and specifically possesses a passion for the youth or better said young at heart. He is able to relate to the feelings of hopelessness they face, yet comes to shine bright in a dark place.

For many years Redefine has been involved in extensive youth projects, bible studies, community concerts, countless hours of volunteer work, free concerts, youth lock --in(s), several MLK luncheon and ceremony speeches, poems and raps, and talent shows.
Utilizing this phenomenal venue of hip hop music, Redefine desire is to incorporates his music with youth and young adult work. Above all, Redefine always wants to inspire all people to get closer to God.

Redefine has worked alongside of many talented men and women of God. To name a few 2010 Christian Music Hall of Fame "Visionary Award winner" Darius "Onebody" Jones and National Holy Hip Hop Artist Christ MC aka CMC. Threw his relationship with these artists it encouraged him to sharpen his craft and as a result has recorded a few solo songs that will be a part of his 1st CD project.

About Featured Artist - Carronne Jones

Like many, Carronne's musical career started as a child singing in her church's choir. However, most singers are not fortunate enough to have songwriters, producers, & musicians as parents. Being around her parents, Bishop Carroll & Jacqueline Jones, allowed Carronne to learn from and be exposed to some of the best musicians, producers, and National Gospel Recording artists. It can truly be said that the musical expressiveness and creativity around Carronne ignited a fire in her that exist to this day.

Carronne is a Maryland native and a graduate of Morgan State University, Baltimore, Maryland.
