Our good friend Chris Thile stopped by the shop for a mandolin tasting after two sold-out Nickel Creek performances at the Ryman. We had a blast discussing and swapping mandolins, mandolas, and even a few mandocellos! In this video, Chris is A/B'ing both of our 1927 Gibson Fern mandolins. He begins with 'Mildred'.
