What up MYSPACE Peepz, this is the official myspace of Chris Strick, ME!

I am from a little island called Curacao, Netherlands Antilles.

I am a radio DJ, MC, song writer, producer, who just loves everything that has do to with music, and not just music but GOOD and GREAT music!

I started at 14 years old working at a local radio station together with my friend Robert Agard called Radio Tropical 90.7 FM. We had one of the first R&B/Hip Hop/ Urban program on the radio on our island. Working on the radio I began to notice that I had a talent for writing hooks on songs. From there I started rapping in a group called skandalouz who consisted of Vladi Dadi, Mr. R.A. and Me Chris Strick.

We were just having fun with it, and trying to make back then in 1997 some songs.



At 16 years old I met my good friend Urban “Legendz” Simmons at a local school on our island. He showed me since the first day that he had the same love for music that I had and that he produces beats. From there Me , Urban and Vladi ,started making some stuff.

In the year 2000 me and Vladi Dadi , went to HOLLAND to go study. In Holland we kept going and making music, we came with a name for our group called Da Ridlaz .

Da Ridlaz became one of the well known groups of the Netherlands Antilles , Aruba , and Holland. We had many songs that became well known like, Nos Tambe Tey, Mucha Dimi Bida, Ban Laga e Fiesta, Bono Sa Ken bo Amigu nan ta, Kabu Kabu, Min Kebu Mas, Keda Kibra, Lo Bo Ripara and many more.



In the year 2007 I came back from Holland to Curacao and started working on Radio Direct Life 92.1 FM. I kept doing my music stuff and worked with a few local artists.

From there me and my good friend Janiro Eisden from “Basic One” decided to make an album together. We began working on our album named “O.N.E” Otro Nivel Ehemplar.

It took us almost 2 years to finalize but finally it came out on 18/02/09. It is my best work to date, it consists of 20 bangers, mixed flavaz like , R&B, Hip Hop, Roots, Soca Bounce, Rubadub and just our own style of music.
