Chino

Chino born May 25 1980 was raised in the city of Miami, FL. Growing up in different parts of Miami from Cutler Ridge to Miami Beach due to the infamous Hurricane Andrew in the 90's. From the young age of 9 hip hop was all around him and became a major influence in his life. With it and many other things a rebellious and wild spirit formed. Bouncing from school to school drinking, smoking and rapping became an everyday habit and although he had a family who loved him the devil had a tight grip on his life. After high school things spiraled down for him and eventually went to jail trying to live a life without God, involved with the street life-selling drugs, gangs, late night parties etc Going in and out jail not realizing the self destructive path the devil had him on. While spending 270 days in a correctional facility Chino got involved in Bible study and church services that were held in the facility. "God kept dropping me visions while I was in there telling me to go to church and seek Him". And throughtout his time in there he realized that he didn't belong in that place and that he had a family who loved him. Change was the next step After his release in 2001 he decided that he would finally finish his education and decided that music was his path. He attended the New England Institute of Art and Communications and got his degree in Audio Engineering/Production the young man who once never got a A on a report card finished with a 3.0 GPA. While in College he met a strong Christian woman who later became his wife. "Up to that point my walk with God was still on the shaky side, but with her at my side I planted my feet on the Word of God and I live a life led and guided by the Holy Spirit". "God has delivered me and taken me out of things that should have killed me and I now see how his hand has covered me the whole time, every step and every move and I am eternally grateful and thankful!" He turned a boy lost and misdirected into a man of purpose and direction!! Praise God! "I have taken so much from so many people and so now I give my all to the Savior Jesus Christ!" "God makes a difference people I am living testimony and he is blessing me no matter what i did in the past! The first step is realizing that we are all sinners after that repent of those sins and believe in Jesus and what he did and watch His love shower you!!!!" I've seen friends who lived the same life I did yet died and now know that Im alive for a reason!"Chino is now working on his debut album "Testimony" with passion he flows from the heart and does it all for the Glory of God! From producing to being a Christian rapper he uses his God given talents to build the Kingdom. "Ministry thru music but it does not end there because at the end it is the Word of God that saves souls and it is the season for us to reap the harvest as believers!"
