"BIG JOHNNY LOVE" sings a Soul track with backing by SAM KIMBLE...
SAM KIMBLE and his Band made a few records in Hartford in the 1960's (1950's?) that received some local airplay but never charted nationally... Outstanding small band Jazz, with great Sax work by Henry Kimble... They were (and still are) a mainstay at Hartford area small clubs, neighborhood venues (McDonald's on West Main in New Britain, Elks Club in Hartford, Aqua Turf club, etc.) and have become a legendary combo throughout Connecticut! Enjoy some early work (I have posted a couple of other tracks as well).
