There have been many bands around the world called "Deja Vu". This one was not the first and certainly not the last.

Deja Vu (UK) was formed in 1987 by guitarist Charlson Ximenes, singer Paul J. Armfield, bassist Chris Rice, keyboardist Ian Hopton and drummer Dave Etheridge.

The original line-up, which recorded "Black Angel" for a Ride Records compilation had Paul Hine on bass-guitar and keyboards. Charlson Ximenes played guitar and drums on the track.

Deja Vu also released the song "Love Me Tonight" on a compilation album by Ebony Records in 1998.

The songs "Fire and Ice" and "The Time's Right", although never commercially released, managed to get extensive radio play in the UK and USA.

The band split up in 1992 but some of its members are still very much active today in the music business.
