DESCRIPTION:
COOKIE and CHARLEY were high school students from Hillhouse High in New Haven, CT when they began appearing as "Regulars" on JIM GALLANT's "CONNECTICUT BANDSTAND" Dance T.V. Show in 1957. Later that year, they recorded two singles to cash in on their popularity from the show... this was one of them. The WPOP survey from April, 1958 shows the other one "I Love You So" at #28 on their Top-40 chart.
