DESCRIPTION:
Cesare Valentini wrote "Blu Cobalto", a solo flute piece for the famous fltist Roberto Fabbriciani in 2011. Blu Cobalto is the first of a project of solo instruments pieces called colors and inspired by the color of the sound of each instrument. Every piece is written in one position/chord/multiphonic and all that you can listen (chords, melodies, rythms) is created by partials of a multiphonic that have a F quarter tone as fundamental. This video is taken from a doc of "Nature meets music", contemporary music festival in Gorlitz (Germany) in october 2011, in wich Cesare Valentini was invited as guest composer.
