My life with music started, in Providence @ nine when my mother showed me a few, two-handed boogie things on the piano at my Armenian uncle's Funeral Home .
( Uncle Harry also handmade my first stringed instrument, an Oude,
that i kinda played along
with the R&R and R&B that was on radio & t.v. )
My Father was a big band & opera guy and took me to see some swingin' big bands as a youngster with my uncle Lou, an accomplished trumpeter,
who turned down a Glenn Miller tour in the 40's to stay in R.I.
and live The Good Life, which he has .
Regarding my singin'------ i started, and learned, w/ Elvis, Bobby Darin and then
became exposed to the Jackie Wilson hi-energy R&B performance !!!
I learned the tunes from those primary inspirations, note for note, word for word, with i and others feel, the correct inflections .
As a teenager, also Ray Charles's rockin' Big Band w/ Quincy at the helm,
then, James Brownboth totally blew me away at numerous live shows .
In high school there was a great local singer/drummer, Jeffrey Osborne, who played at school concerts and many private parties.at 16 jeffrey was amazing and seasoned, already.
I acknowledged this self-taught, empirical path to my belting education,
on my first album's title, in 1989 " Radio Cazio "
Co-produced, out in K.C., with Chris Howard, my engineer & the executive producer, a dear friend, who i had met, while living in New Haven, for awhile .
I've also been on the Staff of two great live music venues, (the original) Filmore East & The Bitter End and have been privy to countless great acts and musicians through the years .

I play a few times a month in NYC with accomplished friends, players.see "shows" here
usually latenight things. Hopefully, will get back in the studio soon to cut some new material .

The 2nd & 4th Sunday Nights, every month, i luckily and almost always, get to do either a simple funky original tune or a classic R&B number, with The Bitter End All-Star Jam
.there's ole' school classics & a couple of original tunes done impromtu on SundayNight, where The Bitter End All-Star JamBand supported me,
in top-flight fashion ! There are 12 or so, now, on YouTube thanks to
