Overheard in San Diego Reader at the Ruby Room 3-29-2010 with Jay Allen Sanford Collage. Opening night of this display featuring fifteen years' worth of selected comic strips from the San Diego Reader, by Rock 'N' Roll Comics creator Jay Allen Sanford. The two weekly strips - Overheard in San Diego and Famous Former Neighbors - were celebrated onstage by Cathryn Beeks and Sven-Erik Seaholm, who performed their Overheard theme song and also appearing were Collage Menage, Bart Mendoza, Wendy Bailey and True Stories, Jenene Lambert, the Cathryn Beeks Ordeal, and Reverend Stickman. Even the elusive/reclusive Jay Allen Sanford showed up, one of only two publicly announced appearances he's done in the past 10 years (the other being the 2005 Comic Con debut of Unauthorized and Proud Of It, a documentary film about Rock 'N' Roll Comics).
