Carnel Davis, Jr., a native of Birmingham, Alabama, started in music at a very early age. With both parents in the church and deeply involved in music, he had no other choice but to be musically inclined. His family later relocated to Houston, Texas where his gift of music began to be developed. Carnel presently serves as the Minister of Music at the Greater Emmanuel Apostolic Church (P.A.W.) in Houston, TX. Greater Emmanuel is under the leadership of Elder Titus Stewart.
Carnel is also a proud member of the Grammy/Dove nominated and Stellar Award winnning Ricky Dillard & New G.
Minister Carnel Davis, Jr. founded the Incorporated To Praise Chorale (ITP) in May of 2004. As appointed minstrels of God to all mankind and sacredly devoted to God for His divine purpose, ITP worships the living GOD in spirit and in truth. Our vision is to unify youth together to bring a message of hope, love, joy, and conviction to the hearts of mankind. To raise up a professional and anointed generation of young people who will not be afraid to stand on the word of God. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out darkness into His marvelous light. ITP is an ensemble of Levitical Worshippers who have been called since birth to set the atmosphere and break yokes because of their anointing. These psalmists are no strangers to gospel music or the industry. Many of these singers are recording artists that have performed on national stages. Yet remaining humble ITP believes in God being the exalter. The members of ITP come from various church backgrounds.
Based out of Houston, Texas, this anointed 30 member choir is one of the most requested music aggregations in the city. Traveling across the nation, Carnel Davis and(or) ITP has shared the stage with such gospel recording artist as Ricky Dillard & New G, Beverly Crawford, The Clark Sisters, Kim Burrell, Myron Butler & Levi, Tamela Mann, David (Mr. Brown) Mann, Youthful Praise, James Hall & Worship and Praise, Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Lucinda Moore, Nikki Ross, Tramaine Hawkins, Judith McAllister, Rev. Timothy Wright, Bettye Nelson, Lamar Campbell, Kathy Taylor, and many others.
ITP is currently in preparation for the release of their first live recording set for Fall of 2009. This anointed First Tenor-5 octave range vocalist and his choir are sure to set you in an atmosphere of Incorporated Worship & Praise.
