I am a child of the Earth descended from the ancient Incas, whose culture we celebrate today throughout our history. I have learned to play the Pan Pipes, which is an instrument that has come down through the thousands of years since their time, a legacy of our past, a gift for future generations, that have been a part of who we are ever since. I also play the Native American flute, and this tune incorporates the Native American Flute and also the African drums and they symbolize the fluid movement of dance, and the joy and spirit that is found in being alive.

It takes me on a journey toward that far away place, forgetting our sorrows and seeing the joy, rejoining of people as they take each other's hands, where the color of the races all blend as one. Where there is no black, white, red or yellow. It beckons us to follow and to reach out beyond our limitations and to soar on outstretched wings to a golden place, where no earthly beings have ever set foot in.
