DESCRIPTION:
SOME PEOPLE'S CHILDREN was a unique late '80s electronic band that married influences as diverse as Depeche Mode, Thomas Dolby, Duran Duran, Jean Michel Jarre, Information Society and Mike Oldfield into a synth pop sound replete with catchy hooks and beats. Built in a garage with cables and floppy drives, SPC's homespun recordings still hold up as a great homage to a fleeting time in South Florida's music scene. This video is a simple slideshow with a handful of pictures of the band members (George Zhen, Tip Ledgard, Enrique Saelzer, Tim Reed Starling and Carla Lynne Hall) interspliced with other images of the time period.
