Here's a changer not often encountered anymore. This is a Capitol #C-45 45 RPM attachment made in 1949 & licensed by RCA. This is nothing more than an RCA #9JY clone featuring an RP-168 with circular dropping shelves and has no dashpot or dampener to soften the blow of the playing arm on the record. It's the fastest changer in the world requiring only 1 revolution to reject, drop & start the record play. Not a whole lot of this model were made under the Capitol logo & over time, with many being trashed, this is one of the more difficult changers to find. Capitol went on to manufacture other licensed RCA players with both the RP-168 & RP-190 changers over the years straight up until around 1958.
