DESCRIPTION:
A few things I have to say to the complainers.I tried to make this video as fair as possible, because I am a fan of both and I don't believe in making biased videos.
1. I used Mariah's "old" notes because she was closer to Ariana's age. It was just fair
2. Some of Mariah's notes are louder because I downloaded a concert, and all the footage from that concert is loud. I tried to increase Ariana's volume, but Windows Movie Maker is a bad editing program. When I played the video back, it did absolutely nothing for her volume. When I tried to lower Mariah's, I could barely hear it.
3. All of the notes on here are completely live, except two of Mariah's notes. This was in effort to showcase Ariana's upper belting range. And Ariana's F6 and F#6 are playbacks as well. Secondly I did not do Mariah's full live vocal range because it would not be fair. She has over five octaves and Ariana does not

Okay, so I know the the comparison between these two have been completely overdone. I personally think both ladies are very talented vocalists in their own right. Like the enigmatic soprano she is, Mariah is able to make her flexible voice slither up and down the register with complete ease. For over 2 decades she has shown why she is the elusive chanteuse. Ariana's feathery voice flutters around until she reaches her upper register. Then she flies! lol. I have a new found respect for Ariana as a performer and singer. She may not be the songwriter, virtuoso, and vocal producer Mariah is, but she is coming into her own..not only as an excellent vocalist but a great performer. One thing I always appreciate is talent and it is in this video. Anyway enjoy!
