Here's what the band has to say about it: "Muskrat" is a song that the New Reeltime Travelers like to play just for fun. It is not on any of our commercial recordings. The tag lines always bring smiles to the faces of the singers who enjoy bending the notes and laughing at the sentiments, especially the line, "tack it on a plank." This version leaves out the minor chord. The lyrics are pieced together from many sources.
